An interdisciplinary team from the Calvin University Psychology and Social Work departments along with community clinicians have been running a program with adopted adolescents seeking to grow in their friendship-making skills. This presentation will describe the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS), originally developed at UCLA, and share the positive results we have observed in our participants’ social knowledge & skills, friendship quality, social satisfaction, self-concept, and mental health.
